Does anybody believe Gene Chizik and the Cyclones didn't walk away from the Oklahoma game with a "moral victory"? Of course they did. When you were thumped by 53 the week before, there's nothing too wrong with a positive loss. I was surprised and impressed..

Can you believe Michigan State will likely start two players who were just arrested and charged with felony robbery? Mark Dantonio should be ashamed of himself. Of course, he plays the "let the legal process run its course" card, but this all about winning. Playing college football isn't a right, it's a privilege. Say what you will about all Iowa's arrests, and I've said plenty, but at least Kirk Ferentz suspends or boots the players...

I think most Cyclone fans feel the same way Keith...it's too bad the ISU Daily reporter doesn't see it that way. In fact, I am not sure how he sees it, apparently he thinks we should be headed to the BCS Championship game. Remember ISU changed the brains behind the team, but it's the same bodies. I will take his comments with a grain of salt because writing for the ISU Daily does not make you an expert.

"...or promotes them to Leadership Council"-Exactly what does this mean? Am I missing something?

See Sam Aiello. The following is from a Chicago Bears website.... "Aiello has had well-documented anger problems, including a suspension surrounding an altercation in a Dubuque bar. He also got into an altercation with current Illinois quarterback Jon Beutjer, which caused him to transfer out of Iowa. Aiello must put his energy in the proper direction to have any chance of making the roster."

Beutjer left claiming that Ferentz didn't punish Aiello for knocking him silly over a phone bill.

After Beutjer left, Ferentz promoted Aiello to the team Leadership Council.

Give it up, Murph! Tell us the scoop on Andy! Anyone can do a simple Google search to read the rumors that he's leaving KC to return to DM for "personal reasons". He's been linked to KCCI but there's also rumors that he's returning to his old gig at WHO. Just, please...tell us that Heather can stay on Sound-off. Three is not a crowd!
