Last week, Christopherson beat the halftime buzzer with a 3 from beyond half court. Fred Hoiberg later called the brief lead the shot gave ISU over Missouri, "fools gold". Hoiberg dedicated the win to little Eli Horn, a young Cyclone fan who bravely fought cancer until the end Wednesday morning. Eli inspired an army or "prayer warriors", and made many friends in Cyclone Nation, and beyond. Eli spent time with us during one of our RVTV tours, wearing a BEAT CANCER shirt in cardinal and gold, but making black and gold available for Hawkeye fans. I always enjoy my conversations with Derrell Johnson-Koulianos. I asked DJK what five people he'd like to have a beer with. DJK said, "Robert Downey Jr, Colin Farrell, Tim Tebow, Marvin McNutt, and Eva Mendez". Mendez because she's so hot, Tebow so he could see if he'd be drunk after one beer.
I think the Barnstormers will be good for DJK and DJK good for the Barnstormers. I don't see a Jason Berryman ending to this one.
