Chair Slam 2012, Divine Intervention, Awkward Family Photos

Fran McCaffery said Thursday he has no regrets, no apologies for the chair slam at Michigan State. I think he should. I love Mac's fiery emotion, especially after the near comatose Todd Lickliter, but when you smash a chair into the floor, that's too much. Keep the fire, lose the chair...

Condolences to Des Moines Register sportswriter Rick Brown on the loss of his father, Bob Brown. Bob Brown passed his considerable writing talent to Rick...

An ESPN The Magazine poll shows 43% of Americans believe divine intervention plays a role in Tim Tebow's success. 43%! Is that possible? Swiss Family Robinson?
Andy brought me the movie The Help. It's his favorite film of the year. It's also my mother's favorite movie of 2011. I don't type that sentence to embarrass Andy, but if it does, fine. Is The Help really that good?...

The Packers had to turn fans away who wanted to help shovel snow off Lambeau Field. Why doesn't my driveway have this kind of appeal?...

For future games, get Fran a bean bag chair. It's a lot safer.
